I heard a ad on the radio the other day promoting a new website, www.ashleymadison.com, a website created for married people, as well as people in relationships, to find affairs. They have options from simple flirting through a “cyber affair” all the way to “anything goes”. Do you feel that this is something healthy for today’s society to relieve sexual stress and tension or do you feel it’s something that is harmful?
In Nebraska there is a Safe Haven law that allows parents to give up a minor of any age — possibly an unruly teenager — instead of just infants.
Passed in February by the state’s nonpartisan Legislature, the law specifies that no person can be prosecuted for leaving any child in the custody of any on-duty hospital employee. While other states set a much lower age limit for children to be left under safe haven laws — the oldest is a year in North Dakota — Nebraska law defines a “child” as anyone up to 19 years old.
The video highlights a mom who drove over 1,000 miles from Georgia to give up custody of her 12 year old son. What do you think of that? Would you do something like that?
